  • A Brief Rattle at Shutdown: When the outdoor unit powers down, you might hear a quick, momentary rattle as the fan blades coast to a stop and the compressor settles.
  • The “Whoosh” of Air: Hearing the steady sound of air moving through your vents is exactly what you want. It means your system has healthy airflow.
