I just started using Sheldon’s Heating and Air for our cabin Lake Arrowhead because we had an emergency. Our heater... stopped working about 10 days before Christmas. They were the only company that could go the next day and inspect everything on a Saturday. JP was the first guy that went and he was super knowledgeable and helpful. They were able to to install a new heater just 5 days later and pointed out the work our AC guy had not done right. They also just recently installed a new Nest thermostat for us. Joshua helped with that and gave me info on things that can be done to get better air flow and increase productivity of our unit. They have done a great job both times and I highly recommend them!read more

Sheldon did an excellent job in installing 2 new Carrier air conditioning/heating systems for us. A crew of 4 came to... remove old systems and installed new equipment efficiently, on time and cleaned up everything upon completion. They thoroughly set up the systems with new ecobee thermostats and fine tuned the systems to perfection. Joser, from Sheldon's Heating & A/C, was very professional, courteous, and completed the work perfectly. He made sure... every detail was attended to. The initial technician that came out did the job, but missed one area.. I called the company and they sent out Joser. He finished the job and went over everything with me . He worked 2.5 hours to make sure my system was running as smoothly as possible. I am happy to say that the company stands by their work after you pay. The price was not cheap, but the unit was 20 years old and is working like new again.read more

I needed annual A/C maintenance. Technician checked A/C and the furnace unit for all tolerances, settings, and... functions. He explained that both A/C and heating were performing within normal ranges. He was very thorough and detailed in his explanations. He even replaced pressurized lines' rubber caps with aluminum caps for more security in the event of a pressure leak. Sheldon's has always done right by me.read more

Omar and Miguel (new technician) replaced a wall heater for me. They were on time for my appointment, they were neat... and cleaned up as they were working. Omar answered all of my questions as well as any questions our new tech had, he was kind with all of his answers.read more

Aaron walked me through the condition of the air conditioner and showed me all the parts. He explained what he was... doing step by step while repairing. He thoroughly checked ever part of the system to search for the precise problem. He was very pleasant, positive, and funny. He resolved the problem and gave me great advice on maintaining the unit.read more

Sheldon's keeps excellent track of things! They called me to schedule the maintenance for my heating/AC that is part... of my contract. I'd completely forgotten about it! Ray came and took care of the maintenance inside and outsite, and changed the filter. He worked steadily and got it all done in a most reasonable time. He was so personable and explained to me everything that he was doing. I very much appreciated the information as it allowed me a very good understanding of what was needed in the maintenance. I'm so glad I selected them last year to do my install... one of my best decisions.read more

I am so very happy with the new HVAC system that was installed in my house late January this year. The system just... passed final inspection with flying colors. The whole team from Sheldon's was super professional and accommodating to install a new heater, and also air conditioning (for the first time) in this old house. Omar, Zachary, Brian, and Dean created a truly "custom" system that's smelling sweet and running smoothly! I appreciated being consulted about challenges and decisions along the way. The only surprise was when Dean let me know he decided to run the condenser wiring under the house instead of through the attic as planned, but everything worked out OK, especially when when I realized I was receiving a slim-line unit that met my special needs at no extra cost. A special shout out of appreciation goes to OMAR who really stuck with the job throughout, calling in extra help when needed, staying late, arriving early, communicating with me constantly by phone or in person and finishing a 3-day job in just 2 days -- so I wouldn't have to be without heat for the weekend! Thanks Omar. Also, the asbestos abatement guys were wonderful -- Edwin and his team were in and out in less than an hour. I highly recommend Sheldon's. They are local, trustworthy and offer decent financing.read more

Early August of this year our A/C Unit went out. We received competitive quotes from three different companies... before callingSheldon's Heating and Air Conditioning. We called them as we had over 30 years of great service out of our old Carrier unit and wanted to stay with Carrier. Zach their Sales Rep. came out to give us a quote.and explained their 10 year warranty on parts and labor. He was knowledgeable and thorough in explaining everything as well as being very personable. His quote included a Senior And Veteran's discount. He also explained the rebates we would be eligible for through our city's utility dept.We were placed on priority service because we had no air conditioning and it was the hottest of days in August.After waiting only two days, installers Omar and Omar (yes both with the same names). arrived and spent the next two days installing our new A/C and furnace duct work. They were courteous, intent on their job, vacuumed and cleaned up after themselves each day. Bryan, their manager, came out twice to make sure everything was going smoothly.We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Sheldon's Heating and Air Conditioning.read more
